Kallenberg Stages Reading at University of Richmond

Jeffrey Kallenberg and Picket Fence Press attended an open reading of "A Simple Piece of Cloth" at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. The reading was performed by Equity actors and hosted and directed by the award-winning director Walter Schoen. Mr. Schoen also heads up the theater department at the University of Richmond. The reading was for three nights and all three nights were sold out. "I really enjoyed being there and hearing my words spoken from the page," said Kallenberg. "While I know I have some work do on the piece, I now know we are onto something [with this play] that could be really fantastic."

Mr. Schoen was thrilled with the production and its warm reception in Richmond. 
"I love this play," said Schoen.  "It's Jeffrey at his best and warmest.  The dialogue, drama and humor is as good as I've seen him and his pen work."
